A top Oxford University student has been caught wrestling naked on the college croquet lawn - for the second time this term.
Ben Tansey - secretary of the historic Oxford Union - was seen rolling around with two rugby pals in the middle of his posh college's quad.

HARPENDEN Gardeners who neglect their lawns and flower beds could be helping to preserve the British bumblebee, research suggests.
The National Bumblebee Nest Survey found that bees, which are essential for the pollination of crops and wild plants, prefer long grass and sprouting weeds to neat lawns.

The recent rather wet weather and unfortunate floods around the country, prompts us to write about flooded lawns and sports fields. Numerous sports fields are under many feet of water and will continue to be so for many weeks.
Grass plants are so much tougher than you will give then credit for, so surviving under water for a week or so is not a major problem.

Today is the launch of the Diary of 'Ginger the Grass Plant' and his mates that make up a local lawn. A bit like Bridget Jones Diary without the mention of trying to bed men, drinking and smoking and making a fool of your self in public sliding down Fire Station poles.
The diary will be filled with intrigue and mystery, with shock horror stories of starvation and abuse by his Guardians. It will be filled with fun and frolics about Ginger and his numerous lawn mates that periodically visit to either terrorise Ginger and his friends or play with them in the garden.
