I spent a bit of time catching up on the BBC's coverage of The Chelsea Flower Show over the recent Bank Holiday. It was the 87th Royal Horticultural Society show at the grounds of the Royal Hospital and covers 11 acres - of predominately grass that is removed or reinstated after the last show garden and landscapers truck leaves the site.
A total of 157,000 visitors were expected to visit the four-day- event. My quest was to see how many times the presenters Alan Titchmarsh and Joe Swift mentioned the word 'lawn'. It took two full hour shows and three minutes into the Wednesday review of Chelsea programme for Joe Swift to have an eureka moment!

A garden is not a garden without a lawn and pleased to see that one particular garden designer at The Chelsea Flower Show has incorporated real turf into his garden design, although no consideration has been given to the actual practical elements of getting a lawn mower up onto the raised purple slate garden! More art than a practical garden.

A blog (a contraction of the term weblog) is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.
