A New Year, a new challenge and an opportunity to get a slice of the growing lawn treatment industry for only £6,000.

Buying a lawn treatment franchise can traditionally be anything between £16,000 and £25,000.

The Team at The Lawn Company have managed to come up with a simple but effective concept for only £6,000 which includes the customer management and treatment software, initial equipment to make successful lawn treatments, personal protective equipment to help you comply with pesticide legislation, some stock of fertiliser and chemicals to get you going, and 5,000 marketing leaflets for you to distribute locally to spark consumer interest in your new service.

Training in the concept of making lawn treatments and simple lawn care by turf degree qualified personnel is included in the initial package and so is accreditation to the necessary NPTC Certificates which allow you to apply pesticides professionally.

All you need to do is to provide a small van to a minimum pre set specification, a home PC or Laptop, access to email and a telephone number that can be added to your marketing material. You will also require the will to succeed at managing your own business and the enthusiasm to work on lawns large and small under The Lawn Company franchise concept and Registered Trade Marks.

Once you have a customer base, you can develop and grow the business to include mechanical operations, lawn installations and renovations. When you do this is up to you based upon the new opportunities in your chosen territory and repeat business from existing clients. The more effort you put in, the sooner your business will develop as it is your business working to a recognised and proven concept. We of course help you with the next stage when that time arrives. The territories will be kept to a workable and manageable size so that you can concentrate your efforts in an area with minimal travel between sites. There will be opportunity to purchase an adjoining territory alongside yours subject to a fee and availability either at conception or at any time in the future.

This could be a full time or part time business or a management only business where you can manage a team of operators.

Ongoing franchise royalties are 12.5% of your gross turnover payable monthly. All costings subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and trading as a Licensee of The Lawn Company will be secured by our usual Franchise Agreement. Traditionally, franchise royalties are around 8% of gross turnover paid monthly or quarterly.

Interested parties will be required to commence training at the end of February 2010 to mid March 2010 latest, to be held in and around the Berkshire/Surrey area and additional training sessions will be held for new potential Franchisees at the end of each quarter thereafter so the next one will be at the end of May should you miss the February/March training date.
