We hope, over time, that this site will help to demonstrate that there was a need for an organisation dedicated to lawns.
Our ethos for setting up The Lawn Society stemmed from an awareness of the difficulties facing amateur lawn owners and some professional turf managers.
We felt that it was important to make available technical information that takes into account changes in UK turf cultural practices and help, that is not linked into any particular product or service.
It is hoped, that through our affiliations with existing key, turf and garden advisory organisations based in the UK and abroad, that The Lawn Society will become the authorative benchmark to lawns and their care.
We have published a series of Technical Lawn Care Leaflets, available as .PDF documents for free download and it is our intention to increase this library month on month.
