That's it - School's out for summer - whoopee!
It is official - the long school summer holiday season has started today. One of my neighbours has the sedatives ready to cope with the need to come up with entertaining things for her Son to do each day. One thing for sure, everyone will be relying on the weather so they can enjoy the great outdoors, not much fun being cooped up inside on a rainy day.
Whatever your plans are for the more traditional holiday months of July and August, do not forget to mow your lawn before you jet off to the sunshine or maybe you are holidaying in the UK this summer, having a 'staycation'.
If you fancy something different and 100% fun why not hire a Retro VW Campervan from campinaVDub. They only have a couple of weeks available in July and August so you might be lucky. As the Campervans have an excellant heating system, they are ideal for a trip out during half term week at the end of October or maybe a little later in the year.
You could take a look at IVillage for some tips on where you can go in your local area to have some fun in the holidays.

The Team at Grass Clippings will be posting topical lawn care advice and lawn care tips over the holiday period as the grass (and weeds) never stop growing and neither do we!
Whatever you are planning - have loads of fun, enjoy the rest and keep safe!
