The Lawn Shop is open this weekend!
It has been quite a dry autumn but with the recent rainfall, the earthworms are throwing their soil casts onto the surface of the lawn.
The grass is still growing quite strongly and mowing yields are high with the lawn mower getting a good work out each week. Overall, it has been a bit of an odd lawn year but there are still tasks you can perform even at this time of the year.
What can you do to your lawn this weekend?
Clear up the leaves, mow the lawn, aerate it and apply a late summer fertiliser application. Repair any small worn areas with a little grass seed and maybe apply some Sulphate of Iron to retard any late summer moss growth. This should keep you busy and work up a sweat.
Whatever you have planned this weekend, get some fresh air, take the dog for a walk and spend some quality time with your family.
