Bank Holiday Lawn Care Tips

Grass Clippings - Bank Holiday Lawn Care TipsThe Weathermen are promising us a bit of a sunny and warm Bank Holiday weekend so time to get planning what you intend to do!

You may choose to head off and do some things in your village such as attend the carnival or May Day fete instead of gardening but if you are opting for a staycation get fit and healthy by having a work out in the garden!

It has been a bit of a long Winter with hardly a Spring to mention and everyone is a bit behind with their gardening year.

The lawn care calendar is about three weeks behind and there are lots of lawn care tasks which could be completed this weekend if you have time and you have not done so already:
  1. Trim the lawn edges
  2. Treat the moss with Soluble Iron
  3. Scarify the lawn
  4. Feed the lawn with a slow release lawn fertiliser but after any mechnical work are complete
  5. Aerate the lawn
  6. Control the Earthworm Casts with CastClear
  7. Treat the weeds with a selective weed killer
  8. Buy your lawn care treatment products form The Lawn Shop
  9. Service the lawn mower
  10. Over seed your lawn

Whatever you have planned this weekend, have fun and enjoy yourself.
